Has to be worst field ever for a $200,000 race.I'd cancel it.

    HEAR YOU THERE--in the fog....TEXAS HAS TO DO SOME CHANGES.....I MIGHT HAVE TO DROP SOME OF MY MARES IN LOUISIANNA..'NEEDLELAND'...TO GET SOME PURSE MONEY...BUT THEN YOU HAVE THE LOCAL POLOTICS....

    Wow, i was just reading this article. It is pretty sad. Being from Texas myself, i really wanted to see Sam Houston and Lone Star do well, but it's been like 15 years now, and it just ain't gonna happen. Maybe if they get slots there or something, that might make a difference.
