Lookin At Lucky is looking at the Preakness (gr. I) for sure.
Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert said May 10 that unless something unexpected happens, he will enter the beaten Kentucky Derby favorite in the second leg of the Triple Crown at Pimlico.
Lookin At Lucky finished sixth in the May 1 Kentucky Derby Presented By Yum! Brands (gr. I) after a troubled trip at Churchill Downs.
The 3-year-old Smart Strike colt will have a new jockey for the race. Regular rider Garrett Gomez will be aboard Dublin in the Preakness.
Baffert said he hasn't decided who will ride Lookin At Lucky, but jockey Martin Garcia is among those under consideration.
Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver is expected to be the favorite for the May 15 Preakness, which could have a full field of 14.
