Closed with 22. $1,500 additional to start with $100,000 guaranteed, of which $60,000 to the winner, $20,000 to second, $12,000 to third, $6,000 to fourth and $2,000 tofifth. Weight 123 lbs. Non-winners of $100,000 at a mile or over allowed 2 lbs.; a Sweepstakes of $50,000 at a mile or over 4 lbs.; non-winners of two races other than claiming or starter at a mile or over 6 lbs.; such a race, 8 lbs. Wow the horses i like have big odds.,, an looking at what the public is betting an who's the favorite is confusing to me.
so i'm going with the horses that i think should win this race the #8 is favorite 6/5 . an he's my 3rd choice...

    I took Macias here. He ran well, but was hell-bent for the lead with Garcia and simply went too fast early (half in 45,.4, i think). Still only beaten a length at the wire though.

    Nice run by the winner Leroy's Dynameaux, who was actually making his two-turn debut. Looks like a chip off the old block; nice prospect.

    leroy had finished 3rd to #5 Hudson Landing last race ......
