#11 Guns on the Table (9/5)
Bafert colt ran huge last time, rearing badly at the start from the far outside and losing several lengths, pretty much costing himself all chance. He got his ass in gear however and nearly got up for the win, despite losing even MORE ground while going widest of all on the turn. Final time was very sharp for the Del Mar polytrack, btw. My main concern here is that fact that he's drawn the far outside post on a bull-ring track, but he does get an extra furlong to work with this time, and i'm reasonably certain he's the best horse in the race.
HRT record:
29 for 101 (29%)
$269.10 mutuels ($9.28 avg)

Good info on the winner Nene. I thought Guns on the Table cost himself the race though when he made the lead and started changing leads back-and-forth. Not sure what that was all about, but it clearly cost him his momentum and allowed Nene to run him down from behind. If he'd have just changed leads properly and strode out like he did in his last race, i think he would've won rather comfortably. Might've been a function of the sharp turns, hard to say.
