STAKES. 6 1/2 Furlongs Dirt. Purse $150,000. Amsterdam S. (Grade 2). FOR THREE YEAR OLDS. No nomination fee. $1,500 to pass the entry box. All starters will receive a $1,000 rebate. The purse to be divided 60% to the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, 3% to fifth and 2% divided equally among remaining finishers. Any horse that competes in both the Amsterdam and the King's Bishop will have their entry fee waived for the King's Bishop. 123 lbs. Non-winners of a Graded Sweepstake in 2010 allowed 2 lbs.; $50,000 since September 1, 4 lbs.; A sweepstake, or three races, 6 lbs.; two races, 8 lbs. (maiden, claiming, starter or restricted allowance races not considered). A trophy will be presented to the winning owner. Closed Saturday, July 17, 2010 with 33 Nominations. (04:56 PM) (10)

    I know i like him also but 4 Essence Hit Man is very fast an is more than ready for this race
    45/ key is not a bad bet with others under but i like the odds on the 4 an is gonna give DM a run for his money,,, good race, i cant wait 2 more to go an its on..

    i am high on this horse if he stays sprinting...he got lucky in the risen star but he is on his game going short...

    I liked Discreetly Mine also, but i didn't even bother posting him on my site today because of the price. He looks like a top-notch sprinter, always has really, and he obviously likes Saratoga (as did his brother). Probably some chance Pletcher points him to the Dirt Mile though, rather than the Sprint. We'll see. Frankly i think Quality Road is better-suited to the Dirt Mile than the Classic, but we all know that's not going to happen.
