We're making a play in the first race at Saratoga Saturday. Pistols At Dawn(6) really impressed when taking his first start at Churchill Downs. The Grand Slam colt comes back here and gets a pivotal rider change to Dominguez. Play Pistols At Dawn(6) to win. Then key Pistols At Dawn(6) on top in two one-way exactas. Use the 8-1 shot Quay Lime Guy(1) and the 15-1 shot Digital(3). 6 with 1 & 3.

In his debut Pistols At Dawn broke outward and bumped a foe. He then raced up on the heels of the first flight and was third into the turn. Once Pistols At Dawn worked his way outside he got the lead and drew out at will. Quay Lime Guy exits a strong allowance race at Monmouth Park that produced three next out winners. He broke cleanly only to bobble. Eibar Coa gathered him up after losing several lengths and he skirted up the inside into second. He had to cover the opening quarter in 21 and change. Look for Alan Garcia to be more patient with him today despite the rail position.

Digital(3)is another project of trainer Caramori. He didn't get the job done for us with Lignon's Hero but he can train a racehorse. Digital has worked nicely for his state-side debut and will race on lasix for the first time. Julien Leparoux takes the call and nobody is riding better.

Del Mar's sixth race finds Mike Mitchell bringing back Where's The Remote(6). Mitchell had him only a few days when he tried him two turning for the first time.

Where's The Remote was visually impressive. First off, I loved his lengthy stride into and around the first turn. He moved like a turf horse, and that's what the order is today. Where's The Remote got away so-so from post two and then he was jostled from the left. He was fifth entering the first turn but he moved up effortlessly to be third in the slot to begin the journey down the backside. Where's The Remote drafted behind the leaders on the second turn. Joe Talamo was looking to wheel outside but was kept in by two foes. He dropped inside and Where's The Remote went gamely for the place. He was not going to beat the impressive winner Call Me Honcho, but it was a race that had to bud optimism on Mitchell's part. Mitchell deputizes Mike Smith to take over for injured Talamo.
