There doesn't appear to be many varibles in this race. Twirling Candy should have an uncontested lead and make short work of this field. So the only question is who will run second and third. Before conceding the two spot to Kid Edward, it may be worth taking a look at Fantastic Pick. Firstly, he seems to improve in every start. Secondly, his improvement has accelerated with the addition of blinkers and the switch to Del Mar. Always an under achiever, he is in the zone on this course, relishing both the footing and the tight turns.

In his last race he came home, from off a slow pace in 34.1 w/ the final eight in 11.1. While being forced out through the stretch, he finish straight and strong. Any more improvement and he figures to give Kid Edward a good tussel for second.
