Great race today at Phili. 2yo going 5 1/2 for 47k, 8 horse field. Almost every horse has a legit shot to take home top honors, and some at a good price. How about a contest for bragging rights for whoever picks the winning exotics, with a somewhat brief detailed reason for your pick.
The #1, Running Tap, certainly looks to be a player, shipping in for George Weaver and bringing in Javier Castellano. The #6, Sunday Spliutsville, was claimed for 50k at the spa from Repole-Pletcher, and may be much better than a claimer due to Repole trying to win the Spa owners title. Alot of others with early speed, the #4 being somewhat of an unknown due to stopping in last, but prior to that was a fireball. The #2 and #8 appear to have a chance to close on the frontrunners.
My play, 1-6-8 exacta box with a 1/8-1/8-2/6 tri and a super with 1/8-1/8-2/4/6-2/4/6. GOOD LUCK TO ALL! Looking forward to your handicapping imput.
