2yo fillies going 6f on turf. #4 Timuquana began her career at CD in June on dirt. She showed little, speed and fade. After short rest, cagey horseman Dale Romans shipped to NY(which he does not do very often) and ran her on turf 1st time going 7f, where she set early fractions and gave up the lead late. Today she cuts back to 6f on turf, and this daughter of Smart Strike/Midnight Squall(Storm Bird) can lead or sit just behind the speed and come late for top honors.
