    Manduro broke his leg winning the Prix Foy, and has been retired.

    George Washington would rate a punchers' chance if he shows up, but that's kind of a longshot in itself right now. Maybe they'll try again, but i'd imagine they'd run in the Mile this time (if he comes at all). He's been knocking heads with top company, and has been coming close, but he hasn't won this year. I doubt they'll make any plans until after the Queen Elizabeth.

    what about Asiatic Boy? he's 40-1 here, and 16-1 in the UK..

    Asiatic Boy hasn't been showing a whole lot vs. top company on grass. A return to dirt might suit him, but i'm not even sure if he's eligibile. They might have to fork over a big supplemental fee. I haven't really been keeping up with him for a few months; i don't consider him much of a contender.

    Regarding the UK furture book odds, they're known to be pretty short (not unlike our own). And of course they go shorter on the European invaders than we do, generally speaking.
