I checked with my longtime friend Eddie Burgart, the voice of Los Alamitos, and he believes Trevor Denman still has the contract to call the races for ESPN. Not certain, but that's probably the case.

I just assumed it would be Durkin. I thought Trevor had gotten the gig the last couple of years because the event was in Southern California. I'm sure we'll find out next week, in any case.

What i'm more concerned with is the video of the races, as ESPN doesn't do the greatest job there. KI wish they'd just go with the Churchill feed. I'll say this though, NBC got some tremendous stretch-run shots @ Churchill with that rolling camera they used the year that Tiznow beat Giant's Causeway in the Classic.

NBC did have some nice shots but I think the problem with NBC was sometimes they would forget to put up the results (Prices) after the races and go right onto the next race.
