AQUEDUCT Thursday bias closing plays

I do not recall too many races yesterday where the early speed did not collapse and set up for closers. I detect a possible bias and will make these picks accordingly:
RACE 2: f &m 3yo up $25k oc going 7f NY Bred
Going to try to beat #4 OPUS A 5/2; This young filly was at one time well thought of. Ran in G1 Spinaway. However, been off for almost 1 year. Obvious health issues and going to think she will need a race
#3 SPA CITY PRINCESS 15-1; Turf to dirt move. Ran her best race ever over this track and same distance back in April. Any return to that performance puts her right in the mix at a square price. Should be forwardly placed in a field lacking speed.
#1 ROGUE'S JEWEL 7/2; Looks like crap on paper. However, her only race over this surface at this distance was more than good enough to be very competitive against these. Johnny V. picks up the mount for cagey trainer, and this filly has been in the money 6 out of 10. She should be in position to give it her best last 100 yards.
#7 BEARURSA 4-1; Based on possible track bias, the one to beat. Solid closer will be coming late, but lack of any speed could compromise chances. Turf to dirt move and drop in class puts this one close at the end.
SUGGESSTED PLAY:
EX BOX 1-3-7
RACE 8 Alw 43kn1x 3yo up going 1 mile NY Bred
Assuming bias for closers continues, will try to beat the 2 early speed horses.
# 4 WHATEVERITTAKES and #7 ONE TURN EDDIE could go at it from the start and burn each other up.
#1 TAPPED OUT BRUNO 3-1 , been off for 7 months, however his Oct works are simply stellar. Been popular in the claim box, going from Levine to Hussion and now to cagey Galluscio. Proven at this track and at this distance, and Johnny V. picks up the mount. Could inherit the lead late and attempt to hold off #6.
#6 SMOOTH TRANSITION 4-1; Proven closer at this distance. Expensive well bred gelding should be flying late and make it close.
SUGGESTED PLAY
Trifecta 1/6 - 1/6- 4/7
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
