Alw $47K n1x going 6 furlongs
Expect alot of speed in this short field. The #2, #4, and #6 should battle from the start and could set this race up for a closer at a big price.

#1 NEW YAWKER, 8-1, His last on Aqu Inner was a better than it looks rally into a strong pace. Former turf runner may have taken a liking to Aqu inner. Expected pace sets up nicely for his late kick at a big price.

#2 DRIVEN BY SOLAR 7/2, Repole/Pletcher horse for course is a logical threat to go wire to wire. His early efforts may burn him up late.

#4 BLACK PEN, 2-1, Claimed from Repole/Pletcher at Spa, has been nothing short of super since. Clearly the one to beat.

#6 SUNRISE SMARTY, 5/2, Will give it all he has early. Notwithstanding the presence of Ramon Dominguez in the irons, his last effort raises questions as to his ability to finish.

THE PLAY:

#1 NEW YAWKER to win/place
Trifecta 1/4 with 1/4 with 2/6

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

The # 5 and the #4 offered little early challenge, letting the winner(#2 ) get through a 23.4 opening 1/4. As a result, the #2 just stole the race. Where the hell is the help when you need it? The #1 New Yawker ran a good 3rd but had no blistering pace to fire at.

I thought Black Pen was close enough to where he should've been able to get past the winner. The slow early fractions really cost him though, as Driven By Solar really turned it on late.
