3 yo fillies stretching out to 1 1/16 Alw $37k n1x. Got word last night that if Israel Ocampo fails here then hell has frozen over!
#4 Switching Gears, 7/5, ships in from Fairgrounds for Margolis, who has run this daughter of Tapit against the best in the mid-west, including Dancinginherdreams, who spotlights the Graded Forward Gal today at Gulfstream. Granted, she was smoked in that G2 Pocahontis at Churchill, but this group hardly is of the same caliber. Expect her to sit off a very fast early pace where every filly wants the lead and make a big move late to win this one by open lengths. I get the feeling that she will be short, as it seems that every jockey will be sending money to the windows.
1/1A entry from Larry Jones looks good enough to key for 2nd honors, but anything better is doubtful due to their involvement in the dual up front.
#5 Hearts On Fire will be prominent early, but also expected to falter late, and the #6 looks like she has no late kick, so I'm not leaving her out b/c she makes no sense at all and these kind are getting up late at OP in real head scratchers.
