JP's Gusto is coming to Oaklawn

craziest thing ever is that the trainer (hofmans) asked to have JP's Gusto taken away from him. lol never really heard of something like that with a LEGIT horse that just turned 3. here is the DRF article. JP's Gusto will now be racing for Joe Petalino.

Might have a really good 3 year old series this year with this one along with whoever baffert sends (most likely jaycito or the factor)

    Sounds like Hofmans was pretty pissed. It also sounds like he doesn't think very highly of JP's chances around two turns.

    Regarding The Factor, he's headed for the San Vicente (per Baffert). Not sure if Baffert doesn't think too much of The Factor's two-turn chances (it's worth noting he was originally planning on a two-turn race after the maiden win), or if he's just trying to lock up some grade earnings in a race that he's particularly well-suited for. Incidentally, Baffert won the San Vicente with his Derby winner Silver Charm some years back.
