Dcat What do you think about Tobys Corner this weekend in the Gotham? I'm really beginning to like this horse and it seems like he is rounding into form. Not to metion he is trained by Motion. Was thinking about throwing a $20 win wager on him this weekend and if he wins taking the win ticket and throwing it on him in Pool 2 of the future wager. Even if he wins big on Saturday I still think i will get great odds come next weekend in Pool 2. Considering Dialed in and Uncle Mo are running in aloowance races and should have no problem and people will load up even more on these 2.

He doesn't look bad. I was on JJ's Lucky Train in the Whirlaway, and Toby's Corner beat him pretty conviningly. JJ's Lucky Train then came back to win his next start, so that flatters Toby of course.

FYI though, it's my understanding that the Pletcher entrant Stay Thirsty has been training heads-up with Uncle Mo for several weeks now. I haven't looked into it yet, but i will tomorrow night. That obviously would be a major plus for that guy, and it's something the general public won't see when they're handicapping the race.

No question Toby's Corner has the recency edge though (including an impressive win over the same layout), and he may well start at a bigger price. Similar to the Soldat/To Honor And Serve situation last weekend, though not as high-profile.
