Absolute steal if you are wagering on him in the Derby, if the other contenders flop in the next several weeks he will be odds on in the Derby. He might only face 5-6 in the Wood.

Uncle Mo's post-time odds in the Derby (or any other horse's odds, for that matter) have no physical relation to his actual chance of winning the race.

He could be showing 1/9 on the toteboard, and you could still have an underlay @ 3/1.

since breaking his maiden, Elite Alex has gone a total of 17 wide in the final turn of his last three starts. (6,6, 5) fwiw. i definitely am not going to let him beat me in the arkansas derby.

The Derby will be the biggest odds Uncle Mo will see all year. When he wins the Derby he will be 1 to 9 in the Preakness and 1to 5 in the Belmont. It doesn't seem many want to take him on in the Wood either. I am sure Zito is looking for a speedster to send in the Belmont.
