Also of note, Brethren is officially out of the Derby. Bad couple of months for that guy...

    basically that he is sick but we are going to try to push him in to running on the first saturday..

    I think the best way to bet the Derby from an anti-Uncle Mo perspective will be to play against him in head-to-head matchups, where conveniently, he should be pitted against other horses that are considered "top contenders". This is assuming that he actually runs, of course.
