Can't keep my mind off of Lady Gaga, but when I do I keep asking myself why a Finger Lakes trainer, Mike Lecesse, would send over two horses for this race? He owns one of them, but that one looks like a rabbit, the other one , #4 SILKY ME, 15-1, comes in 2nd off layoff and shows an ability to close ground. This is one of those weird 6 1/2 f races where you might see the ml fav's burn each other out thru 6f and have nothing left for the last 100 yards. On paper, there is nothing to like about this horse, so why in the hell would Johnny Velazquez take the mount. I made a phone call but all I found out was that Angel Cordero thinks this one has a good chance to upset at a big price. Based on that, worth a shot w/p/s.
If SILKY ME runs to form and doesn't get there, it will be another "Bad Romance". Thanks Gaga!
