Better Luck Today at Delaware 6th

Let's be brutally honest here, yesterday's pick sucked!

He turned for home with a lead thru easy fractions and did what you never want to see a 3yo colt do. Namely, He got headed and lost all heart and showed no courage. I would like to be able to say he dug in and gave way grudingly like the chart says, but that is just not the case. This one may be a maiden for a long time or until they drop him in for a tag.

Nevertheless. today is a new day and let's try another with a couple that look the best with some longshots underneath.

Delaware Race 6 ( goes at 3:30 EDT )
clm $15k f & m 3 & up one mile

#4 SHE'S OFFLEE WILD, 2-1

3yo began her career at FG last Feb for Mac Robertson. She could not break thru in New Orleans so she shipped into OP in April stretched out to 1 1/16 at $12,500 clm and won by 5 lengths pulling away. Claimed out of that race by claiming King, Midwest Thoroughbreds ( Jamie Ness ). Came back 5 weeks later at Delaware at $20k clmlevel and came on late to win again and in doing so posted a late speed figure that far exceeds anything else in here today as she now goes for three in a row. Takes a very slight drop but all she needs is a clean trip to be able to angle out late and put in her big late run.

#7 CANE CANDY, 4-1

main threat for top honors. Zito/Rose will be prominant late. This one has a real chance and can't leave her out of the top spot.

UNDERNEATH SELECTIONS

#2 TEMPARNILLO, 8-1
could lead for a long way.

#3 GOT IT COVERED, 10-1
could easily round out the trifecta

#5 SEBRING AT SUNSET, 3-1
In bad form now, but have to respect the drop and Rosie in the saddle. She has a chance for 3rd but I like her less than the #2 & #3

Trifecta 4/7---4/7---2/3/5

GOOD LUCK!
