Strong Suit, who won the Jersey Stakes this morning at Royal Ascot was bred in Arkansas. Rahy-Helwa, by Silver Hawk.
Doesn't that make two years in a row an Arkansas bred won one of Ascot's huge races. lol the world has to be coming to an end soon

I haven't got a fucking clue how this horse was Arkie bred! Maybe Helwa?
However, this should not come as a big surprise as this horse has been running in Europe and has 2 wins and a place and a show in 4 starts. Moreover, this winner has a bloodline made to order for European races. Tons of Nearco, Mr. P, Roberto, Rahy, and Halo!

Visions of NODOUBLE coming to mind!

Strong Suit is the same horse who won last year at Royal Ascot in the Coventry Stakes. He came back earlier in the year and ran behind Frankel in the Greenhaw Stakes, then had a myoectomy to correct a breathing problem and came back a winner today over a big favorite. I'm still trying to find out how this champion got from Royal, Arkansas to Royal Ascot?
