Spoke to Ricky G. yesterday, asst.tr. to N. Howard, and was advised of the following:
#4 KING'S COMMAND, 4-1
This one was a good winner for us last out. He has never run a bad race and no reason to think he will today. ricky says he is busting down the stall to get on the track and has never looked better. This race is very unusual in that it is full of early speed and this well bred champ will have the class to get the job done at the end when the others have worn each other out. Ricky expects to win but he is concerned with:
#5 LET'S DO IT, 7/2
Turf specialist has all the credentials, Motion/ Leparoux, El Prado/ Brereton C. Jones. Moves up with any give in the weeds.
I am going to play the two above on top in exotics and try to hit the following underneath.
#2 SPORTY, 5-1
Street Sense connections will never make back what they paid for him. Been rested for almost 3 months and has run well of rest.
#6 JOES BLAZEN AARON, 4-1
Speedster will appreciate the cut-back to 1 1/16
#8 ALMORADI, 4-1
Could carry his speed far enough to get a piece?
