About a month ago I had posted asking if anyone knew a programmer to test some info.
I found one online that has been doing some programming following half a dozen parameters.
This is what the initial program came up with with no tweeking at all which we will be doing over the next few weeks. My question to you guys is ... Is this ROI worth pursuing?
Here are the numbers. The 167 races are the number of races the past 60 days which fell under the parameters to a tee.
trials = 167, wins=27, sum=381.6, cost=334 - roi= 0.14251497005988
user@cirrus ~/work/handicap/data $ wc -l criteria.txt
371 criteria.txt <<< this means there were 371 horses that matched, which I took from yesterdays run, but it only processed 167 of those because the rest had a jump in class.
