Not much time for lengthy write-ups, hope we get some fireworks going here today!

BELMONT PARK

Race 3
#2 Dreamingly Win/Place
Ex & Tri Key 2---4/5/6

Race 5
Ex Bx 3---5---9

Race 7
NY Bred f & m going route of ground and most will not get the distance. Ramon is on the fav for the Gallegher Family and this horse is vulnerable big time. Tom Bush has a firster that has decent works and the work from the gate 2 back is said to be a good one. So good that Javier jumps off Weaver owned to ride. Don't worry about George, Johnny takes his horse! The only other with decent late ability is the one Prado rides.

Ex Bx 2---6---9

Race 9
If you are playing the late pick 4 you would hit the ALL button for this race. However, I am informed that the #2 Roman Treasue is one fast horse who should wire this very competitive field.

#2 Roman Treasure W/P
Ex & Tri Key 2---4/5/6

Churchill Downs Race 9
#5 Lou Brissie is rounding back into pre-injury form and catches a field he should handle. Word from Neil Howard barn is that Lou is ready to fire a big one!

#5 Lou Brissie Win/Place

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY 4TH TO ALL!
PS: when the hell is W2W getting back? I'm tired of having to look at all these NY races!

No Luck On The 4th At All!

But on a note of some future interest, in the race at Churchill, we were on to some good info on Lou Brissie.

Lou didn't win, or even hit the board, but he was coming on very well at the end of the 1 mile race. Probably needs to stretch out to 1 1/16 or more.

What is interesting is that Lou was claimed out of this race ( $75,000.00) by none other than Ken Ramsey. You don't see many claims these days for that kind of money. Will be turned over to Mike Maker and will no doubt appear next at Saratoga. Put this one in your stable watch as he will probably run in a optional clm $50k and depending on how he does, maybe even jump back into stakes at the end of the meet.
