Please begin sending payments in asap we have 1 month before week 1 of the NFL begins...Payments are due NO LATER than Tuesday September 6th (Season starts Sept 8 and week 1 picks are due by 5pm on September 7th.)

It's time for the 2011 edition of the NFL Suicide Pool
We are sending this out early so we don't have as many last minute entries and we would like everyone to get their entries in as early as possible. We had 409 entries last year with a pot size of $ 20,450 that was won by one person. The rules are listed below. Please either reply to this e-mail if you are interested to reserve your entry/entries as soon as possible or you can just email your entry in to James Duley at the address listed below. Please make sure to include all info asked. One change to this year is that we will allow three (3) entries per person. If you are sending entry fees/picks for multiple players, please make sure that everyone has a copy of the rules. This year will be different with us expecting between 600-800 entries. I will not contact anyone for their picks if the deadline approaches or passes. By putting up your $55 you will be responsible for you pick and as listed below Late Picks will not be accepted and this means you lose. Also if your pick ties in a game that also means you lose. If you have any questions feel free to contact me here or James Duley at 504-575-9819. Good luck to everyone

Pool Rules:
-$55.00 per entry (to be received no later than September 6th)
Three (3) entries per person max.
-Pick one NFL team to win each week---no point spread (send to
NFL.SUICIDE.PICK@GMAIL.COM)
-Once you pick a team, you cannot choose that same team again for the remainder of the pool (ex. If you pick Denver in Week 1 you cannot pick Denver in any of the following weeks)
-If your team wins, you continue to the next week. If your team loses OR ties you are eliminated.
-Winner takes all. If there is a tie at the end of Week 17 (or any other week), the pot will be split among the players remaining. (ex. One year's pool had 4 players remaining going into Week 15. All of their selections lost, so those four players split the pot)
-All picks must be received by 5pm on the Thursday before that weeks game. (Picks will be due on Wednesday for weeks that have Thursday games). Note: Week 1 has a Thursday Game.
Late picks will not be accepted---THIS MEANS YOU LOSE!

Here is another reminder to start getting payments in if you plan on playing this year. PAYMENTS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 6. We will not accept any payments received after that date. Season starts Sept 8 and picks are due Wednesday, September 7th at 5 pm sharp. Remember any picks received after deadline will be eliminated no questions asked this season. We are expecting anywheres from 600-800 entries this year. We have alot of new entries and I still have not heard from alot of people that have played in previous seasons. Total entries paid as of today is 312. Pot is already over $15,000 to go to the persons or persons last standing. Rules are below.
