    I am with you on Bank Merger. Trappe Shot is a scary monster though, so I might protect with Bank Merger underneath Trappe Shot in exactas.

    Bank Merger has a 10-1 ML, but I am concerned this horse will get pounded in the 7/2 to 9/2 range by post-time due to his apparent affinity for the sloppy conditions. But it does appear he is sitting on a race. He'll have to run huge to beat this field.

    So, the 5, that easily OUTRAN the 1 and 9 last time they met, couldn't contest a 25.05 50.15 115.38 ... pace? How is this horse NOT cutting the fractions?
