No idea what the weather will do today. Good chance of rain at Spa and Philly. Adverse conditions, i.e., yielding turf and/or sloppy track make these suggestions moot.

Saratoga Race 2
2yo 5 1/2 f dirt

There are two in here who have had a race, and they are the chalk. #2 Love To Run, 3-1, hit the board in his first out and has come back to work well for Johnny Kimmel, but the first race may have been a little weak compared to today. Same goes for#7 Seeker, 5/2, who chased some good ones in first out and ran a good 2nd. Assman thinks this one will improve 2nd out and will be a major player if he does, although very short price. There are two others in here who have been the subject of backside talk and are certainly worth consideration. #3 Start The Party, 6-1, owned and trained by Dallas Stewart, backside talk is that this firster is well meant for debut, and published works certainly back this up. #9 Villaundry, 8-1, Stevie Jerkens firster is the talk of the backside. Eye-Popping works got alot of attention, including Cordero, who gets Johnny the mount. Son of Mr. Greely is bred to be a player first out and Johnny will certainly put him in a position to fire and the outside post is ideal!

PARX Race 9
Turf Amazon Handicap $200k f&m 3 up 5f turf

TAP & Javier did not come to Philly to lose this race. It's all about #5 Rose Catherine, 5/2. Underneath you might want to look at the 2/3/8/12.

PARX Race 10
Turf Monster Handicap, $350k 3yo & up, 5f turf

These 3 stakes races at Parx today are full of speed. #6 Regally Ready, 5/2, is speedy as hell. Assman favorite is the one to beat. #9 Ben's Cat, 4-1, is the King Leatherbury trained closer in this speedy field and has been the picture of consistency over his career. Should benefit from killer fractions. #11 Chamberlain Bridge, 6-1, comes in for top mid-west trainer Brett Calhoun, who doesn't ship for the hell of it! This old timer has won a shit load of money in his career and he runs his best races fresh. Calhoun has had him on the rest for over two months and word is he is primed for a huge effort. LOOK OUT!!!

PARX Race 11
Smarty Jones Stakes $300k 3yo 1 mile 70 yards dirt

You could make a case for many in here, but I'm going with the ones who are coming into this Stakes for top connections.
#9 Pants On Fire, 5/2, is the class of the field. A must use.

#2 Turbo Compressor, 5-1, Recent Curlin Stakes winner has been brought back like a crazed beast! Word is that this late bloomer may be the best in TAP stable. Javier goes here over other TAP Joe Vann, and I am told that this one is primed for a super effort. Will be a decent price due to Kelly Breen fav. Could be the top play of the day, dependingon track conditions.

#5 WILBURN, 12-1
At one time this was Assman's top prospect. $625k Jess Jackson purchase out of Bernardini was set for a big triple crown run. He has been the victim of bad racing luck in several of his races and a clean trip today makes him a very good longshot play. He has been given some time off and he comes up to this race with a string of works which indicate readiness. Assman thinks he will make amends today!

I hope some of this info is helpful. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!
