#5 Sporting Art 20-1

Is that a huge mistake? This is a Mitchell/Talamo, dropping in class, and looks to be on the lead. In addition, this one just worked heads up with the 5/2 favorite in this very race, Times Gone By (who is my favorite horse in training). Times Gone By probably has the better chance of the two Mitchell's entered here, but if Sporting Art is 8-1 I would consider it. Better to be alive to him in horizontals, I would imagine.

He's been fading late at shorter distances (recently), and now stretches out to 1 1/8 miles. That's probaly the thinking. Also note that he's been offered for the discount several times, and no one has snapped him up (not that claiming a horse from Mitchell is ever a great idea anyway).
