Suspect payoff on Thursday

I am not one who says much.... but Thursday afternoon in the Belmont 4th the winner paid 70 and the place horse paid 45. I figured I had about 1800 - 2400 for a $2 exacta...the payout was 848...making it more unbelieveable was the fact the place horse last raced on January 11 at the big A..more than 8 months ago.....For sure I am contacting NYRA on Friday....

204,000 in the exacta pool in that race. someone most have put some serious cash down for it to only be 848. that was a 12 horse field too.

I didn't know I had such a following...lol...I picked the winner BUT there was no way to get the 2nd horse without wheeling the exacta...small payoff for those 2 horses...ONLY IN NEW YORK...w2w

That is weird. I was reading the chart of that race and I saw the payoff and thought it was remarkably low considering the field size.

Race 1 had a $2 exacta that paid $1046.00, and the winner paid $119.50

Yea, I got a good chuckle. Almost though it was Night Dance, a horse Mr. John gave out a few days back, as I read it.
