5th Race
Mdn $50k 2yo Fillies going 1 1/16 Turf

Based on one race at Spa last month or two, #4 & #11 should be the heavy fav's. They are 5/2 & 3-1. However, there is a first time starter in here who is causing backside talk. #5 BROMELIA, 15-1, is trained by Bill Mott for a group of heavy hitters. Eye opening works at CD since late June have caused alot of attention. Unbridled Song sire and a winning mare
combo make this one a good play to upset the fav's! Ex Bx 4--5--11

6th Race
Clm $30kn2l F & M 3 & up 6 F

#3 LULENGO UNO, 5-1
Trickey Kee trainer Glenn Wismer will have this one ready to fire. Should be near the front but early dual may cost this one in the end. The same can be said for

#1 SARAH MELISSA, 7/2
She just fits well in here and you can't leave her out of your plays. Whether she will have the late kick necessary to hold off the #4 is a big question.

#4 ISABELL's THUNDER, 4-1
She has never raced on poly, but her late pace closing figs are super strong. She should get the perfect tracking trip behind the leaders and come well late. Gets Gomez for this effort.

#12 ESTELLA VEGA, 4-1
Bad post position and been off a long time, but Eddie Kenneally will have her ready to go amd she might out run her outside post.

Ex Bx 1---3---4
Tri Box 1---3---4---12

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

    KEE R5:
Don't like the 11 and will let the 4 beat me. The 4 should hit the board but she's an underday.

Wanted to see if the 5 would take money and she's not -- at least initially. Will thus let her beat me, as well.

    I'm interested in:

#2, Drama Drama: decent effort last out -- win bet if >= 20:1

I also think that McPeek is a major player here:

#10, Bye Love You: is as good as any in the race but she's nothing special either

#12, Cerce Cay: this is the one I think McPeek is trying with today.

exotics: 2,4,10,11 but won't use the 10 on top.

edit: obviously, that's 2,4,10, 12 but won't use the 10 on top or as strongly as the others.

have I mentioned that I love the ONE MINUTE maximum for editing posts?

In the 5th, #5 Bromilia, ran well first time, got 3rd, paid over $10 to show. Probably won't get these odds again, but nevertheless one to watch out for.

In the 6th, sct #1, is too bad, would have been a player, but may help out #3. We'll see?

    6th 3--9--12--4

Hard as hell to include a 43-1 shot to run 2nd. It's Keeneland, Jake!

In the 7th, #9 Sok Sok, currently 10-1, was ok last winter at Oaklawn, maybe worth a wps shot?

The 30:1 #2, Drama Dram, DID run, however. Nice exacta under the heavy chalk
Probably won't get those odds next time out but TODAY was the time to have her.

    Keeneland - Race 5
    # Win Place Show
    4 $4.80 $3.00 $2.60
    2 . $18.80 $12.80
    5 . . $10.20

    $1.00 Exacta 4-2 $45.10

Couldn't ignore the board (and the exacta payoffs) and LOADED UP on the exacta.

    ***
    KEE R7-8-9 Double and P3's

    R7:

    #3, Strike the Tiger
    #10, Suyeta

    R8

    #6, Tahoe Lake

note: #7, Atlantic Bull, is taking a ton of money in exotis and is the chalk. Never turfed, never routed. Take my chances against this one

    R9:

#11, Rose Medallion: TWO excellent races over the track and the distance --- should win
#6, Amazing Spirit: on the Moss/Amoss 'program'; shouldn't be able to get the distance but need to use

Just got home and watched the replay of the 9th race. Hard to believe the 11 won it. What a fuckin' skunking: the p3 with the 6 was more than double.

Profitable day, so can't really complain.
