A fool and his money are soon parted, and anyone playing against Julien Leparoux or Ramon Dominguez these days could be labeled a fool. Damned the torpedoes and full speed ahead!
Belmont Park
4th Race, has a 4 horse entry at 2-1 ml. Nothing wrong with the #'s 3/4/8.
6th Race--the 1-1A entry has not worked very well recently for Repole. No reason to think they will come through today. #7 General Maximus, 4-1, is coming off a short rest and Tonja Terranova has this one ready to fire and thinks he has a good chance to upset #9 Pretty Boy Freud, 5/2, who is the one to beat. Trifecta play 7/9---7/9---1/2.
7th Race--the #'s 1 & 3 are must use plays, but both are short. Johnny Kimmel has #5, Newbie, 8-1, who really impressed in 2nd start win last out and now jumps right into stakes company. The word is out on this one so 8-1 may not hold, but could trigger a decent exacta, 1/3/5.
Keeneland
Race 2---ex bx 2/4/5
Race 5---ex bx 2/6/7
Race 6: #8 Pleasant Vow, 5-1,
Jinks debuted this one down in Calder and ran a better than looks 3rd. Any improvement in second start makes him a serious threat. Lures Garrett Gomez for maiden breaker.
Race 9---#3 Hot Summer, 5-1
Word is that David Fawkes has this one on go! Been facing the tough ones and this looks like class relief today. Cornelio comes down from New York to ride and collect. Use on top and with exotics along with #'s 2/7/11/12.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
