Yes, that's right, all eleven ( 11 ) races are for 2 year olds. There are many entered in here who opted to skip the BC races, but would have been players. Love these kind of race cards and a couple in here who deserve some looks at a price.
8th Race--Iroquois Stakes, G II, colts, 1 mile
#3 FINE, 8-1, Okie bred will be overlooked in the blueblood land of Kentucky, but this young colt is for real and Brett Calhoun is high as a kite on his chances.
10th Race--Pocahontas Stakes, GII, fillies, 1 mile
#4 ON FIRE BABY, 12-1, You won't get 12-1 because everyone in Hot Springs who can get a bet down will do just that! Red Dog wanted to go to BC but chooses to go here after surprising last effort. Don't know what went wrong in last, but Red Dog still says this is the best horse he has ever had!
Hope to have more info on who's been looking good in the morning. I know that TAP has a few early in the card and Javier comes to town for the barn. In the 3rd, #1 Gemogolist, is a Watts Humphrey bred who went to Winstar , 2-1 but you would expect favortism with those connections. Probably a single on the p3 and p4.
In the 6th, Assman has two in here and is high on both. Street Fight is the Dogwood Stable colorbearer who went from TAP to Neil Howard. At one time he was considered one of the promising babies in the TAP barn. Who knows?
Hope to have more info tomorrow morning.

1 pick 5
and a multitude of opportunities to hit a big one or two! Here is what I'm looking at, mostly 3 horse exacts boxes unless otherwise noted:
1st---3/4/8/9 tri box
2nd---2/3/7
3rd---tri key 1---2/5/7
4th---4/7/8
5th---1/3/7
6th---5/8/9
7th---2/4/7
8th---2/3/7
9th---2/8/11
10th---4/9/19
11th---tri box 8/10/11/12
Two key plays today with #1 in the 3rd, and #2 in the 9th. Beware the Borel Boys runner, Brown Eyed Josie in the 9th. Also, keep your eyes open for any with connections, either breeder/owner, with G. Watts Humphries, who is on a run of luck like you haven't seen in a long time. BTW, he is one of the owners of the St. Louis Cardinals, and needs the money to re-sign Albert!
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
#5, And Why Not: huge race breaking her maiden, then a couple of less than stellar trips. Gets it done today
#8, Believe you Can and #10, Aubby K, are the others
tough day playing babies, only hit two exactas and one short tri key. Small consolidation that everything created a carryover, p6 paid on 4 wins, and carryover in super high five and pick 5. Thank goodness for On Fire Baby! Turned a slow day into a good winning day. On to Santa Anita. Good Luck!
