This play is made with weather being a factor. Expecting a very wet track.
7th Race-- 2 yo fillies in a stakes race, 6 furlongs
#4 LULU WONG, 5/2
I know these connections very, very, well. They do very well running at Oaklawn, CD, Delaware.
For these guys to ship into New York, they not only think, they know that their horse is ready. In her last at Delaware, which by the way was on a wet/fast surface, she destroyed the field in a time which was impressive. Has since come back to work well. Bill Hardin/Steve Hobby go to little Rosie to come north and face off against the likes of the NY jock colony. All I can say is that Ramon, Johnny, and Alex will have the opportunity to get a real good look at Rosie's ass as she will be gone on the front end and this group will head back to Oaklawn with a stakes race trophy under her belt and begin preparation for the 3yo Oaklawn Fillie stakes program, Honeybee, and ultimitely the Fantasy.
Some mild competition should come from #2 WELL KEPT, 3-1, Leah Gyarmati trained young fillie was super in her last as she pulled away under a hand ride. Clearly the second choice.
#4 WIN
straight Exacta 4---2
If the 8th stays on the turf, which is unlikely, keep your eye on #1 BOURBONSTREETGIRL, who had a hard luck trip in last and deserves another shot.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
