For what's it worth, I just heard that longtime Finger Lakes Jockey, John Grabowski, is calling it quits after today. Going into training.

I make ALL the profit I squander at the track by flat betting jocks. In Joel's early days we crushed. I still flat bet him in the last (unless Mitchell has a runner). IRAD, after John Greenhaw brought him to my attention, has made me 10k to date, and the public has NOT caught on. I just banged him for small money (6-1 or so) in Trinidad. Finally , the Hector Berrios angle I gave out toward the the end of Del Mar is the finest of them all. He's an amazing rider, showing a huge flat bet profit (with trainer Marty Jones he'll make you $800 for every $200 you bet).

Betting on underrated, skilled riders, is way more profitable than betting on temperamental beasts hell bent on doing whatever the fuck they want. Give it some thought guys.
