A friend wanted me to post a full card analysis... Here it is for 1/1/12

Aqueduct 1/1/12

Race 1-
1) Funky Munky Mama is the speed from the rail for cold barn and should ensure the pace for a closer.
2) Starship Warpspeed will add to the early mix if anything.
3) Siggi The Alien is way up in class for a negative barn change. For Star Trek fans.
4) Shandrea is another cheap speedster in field of limited contenders.
5) Celebrity Sighting has won two in a row for Rudy since the claim, both on wet tracks, and is better on dry ground.
6) Natalie Victoria gained needed condition in swamp and now turns back with tons of speed to run at. Right Price.
7) Joonbi finds a ridiculously tough spot for first start in new barn. Next.
8) Wild Rainbow adds more cheap speed to the mix.

Contenders: 5,6 Equal in all pools including a juicy exacta box.

Race 2-
Since I don't discuss firsters, this will be a very short narrative.
1A) Beggarthyneighbor has raced well in both starts and hasn't missed a beat in the a.m. for return to dry ground.
8) Rockin Boogie could be the top ones twin.
9) Steele Road gets bigger makeover than Cher's daughter. Last time at a price for this one.

Contenders: 1A,8,9

Race 3-
1) C C's Pal is the inside speed but really isn't much stock and will be overbet.
2) Karmageddon is really ambitiously placed here. Distance and class are both huge issues.
3) One Last Dance took advantage of bad field and picture perfect trip to get through NW1. Terrible placement.
4) Fools in Love is here for what reason?? Plodding late runner just does not belong.
5) Katy Now finds a perfect spot especially with CC being more than ready to sit second.
6) Bahama Bound comes in for Tropicana barn but is just overmatched.

Contenders: 1,5

Race 4-
1) Parachute Coney drops, draws the rail and adds blinkers for the money run. Short price that clearly does not have to win. Gelding has the tendancy to really be on the bit and the blinkers could make him that much more psychotic. Tread lightly.
2) Cab's Here has never beaten a horse and looks to add to that 4 race streak.
3) Cat Man Fu actually had some trouble racing over his head in last but just isn't enough stock in spite of the strong trainer.
4) Muster Up gets huge trainer change for barn beginning to blossom. First time for a tag also and this one could reap immediate dividends.
5) Moves Like Jagger is the overstatement of the century. Would be a tight battle to the quarter between the two.
6) Toninthirteen is turf to dirt, blinkers on and first time tag. Homebred is devoid of speed though and uncoupled mate inspires much more confidence.
7) Chilton is yet another spotted miles over their head.
8) Raytessa is better than the lines show but this spot is too tough. Later but take note of today's trip.
9) Ambit is back to the dirt lacking any talent whatsoever.
10) Skorton lacks talent and is in an impossible spot from the outside.

Contenders: 1,4,6 with the 4 the press.

Race 5-
1) Private Merger drops and tries dirt. Pure guess but price will be huge.
2) Bayou Gold was okay in debut but was it the wet track?? Barn yet to hit the board at the meet.
3) Hypnotic Dancer puts the shades back on and tries a tag. At least he's not a proven loser yet.
5) Paws Up is right to surrender.
6) Karma Police makes first start for Johnny P and may just be too much for these.
7) Carmichael's Prize gets fast footing for the first time and deserves a chance.
8) Jet Set Rea is yet another of a slew of pathetically cheap and slow New York Breds.
10) Gabrilicious gets fast ground for the first time for great barn.

Contenders: 1,3,6,7,10

Race 6-
1) Aquitania gets acid test but draws well and is versatile. Barn is no joke.
2) Winning Image has tons of speed but severely lacks ability. Sets it up for someone.
3) Bold Affair ships in for strong barn and should get first run at the 2.
4) Nicole H clearly has ability but has more spaces between races than Chris Rene's teeth.
5) Isn't She Grand is a one way speedster who isn't making the lead.
6) Don'tgetsuspicious has the right style but is likely to get caught wide with better stock closing inside of her.

Contenders: 1,3,4,6

Race 7-
1) Ausable Chasm can collect a small check if allowed to just sit inside and do no work.
2) Pleasant Pacific broke maiden in ultra weak field now takes correct next step.
3) Salt Water Lullaby has the same issues as her neighbor to the inside.
4) Shady Road has some speed but nothing else.
5) Valuable Lady also has speed and is better than anything inside of her but that isn't enough.
6) Luck in the City clunked up in super slow maiden breaker and just has too far to come today.
7) Satu Mare was competitive in one of these at Laurel. Might be enough.
8) Queen of the Lake can go either way, has never raced this cheaply and barn is scalding.
9) Stellar's Theory adds blinkers with drop to the bottom and will never find a better spot than this.
10) Tatoo Me is just ridiculous.
11) Lemon Drop On Top turns back with the right style and is the right one if Stellar isn't Stellar.

Contenders: 9,11

Race 8-
1) Rigby is up in class out of jail and gets the rail draw. Needs to improve but just might.
2) Cribnote is an overbet state bred pace factor.
3) Magnifi Cat is a one paced trip monger who will get a check in just about every start at this level.
Likely to set up camp at this level for a long time.
4) Rein King has a lot of speed but will need a few favors to clear.
5) Crushing is a disgusting horse.
6) Nacho Saint tries this level again for some unknown reason and is your classic also ran.
7) Washington's Rules adds blinkers and gets a fast track for Dutrow who figures to improve this animal by leaps and bounds.
8) Beautyinthepulpit is a state bred with ability, just not enough ability for George.

Contenders: 7

Race 9-
1) Cool Operator ships down from the lakes and has some sweet trouble lines. Rail draw a plus and barn put over huge form reversal yesterday. Using.
2) South Fleet takes huge drop with worry taken away with presence of Dominguez.
3) Gypsy Warrior is a stone closer with a chance for a check if race falls apart.
4) Ravello Storm is a marvelous longshot here. Goes turf to dirt after pressing wide on a tiring turf course. Gets a shot at the bottom for hateful barn.
5) Storiesinthedark can compete at this level, just not for top honors.
6) Oasis of Chance broke maiden in cheap sprint and now stretches as the main speed in nw2l. I've seen worse stabs.
7) Numerous One is a plodding one runner with minimal ability. I wonder what motivates Quiles to get up in the morning.
8) Wildlee Special returns off long layoff for owner breeder and Dutrow gives a leg up to new bug. Tough to take at a short price.
9) Ess Shape is interested in one thing, and one thing only, his feed bucket.
10) Con The Cat is a slow horse in a terrible barn.
1A) Fast Grievance is a stone closer who clearly prefers turf.

Contenders: 1,2,4

They really narrow things down for me.
Only making a couple of plays but they are super solid.

    Race 1- Exacta box 5,6
    Pick 3- 5,6/1,9/1,5

    Race 2- Pick 4 1,9/1,5/1,4,6/1,3,6,7,10 Pressing the 4 in the 4th.

Race 6- Pick 4 1,3,4,6/9/7/2,4 and I may make a huge punch on the 7th and 8th double.
With the scratch of Lemon Drop On Top, Stellar's Theory is imposing and I love Washington Rules.
Happy and healthy 2012 to all and lets get the year started with some sweet winners.
