Race 1- 1) Cause I Can is a plodding gapper and needs lots of help to earn a check here.
2) For Wes is hideously overmatched.
3) Heart Of The Derby should pan out as the inside speed. Chased wide against same in last and will have a tons better journey today at a price.
4) Vose The Host does not belong.
5) Giopi turns back and will be packing a huge closing punch. Dangerous.
6) Power KIng's best days are well behind him.
7) Value Added Tax is an early pace factor at the most.
8) Jax Maxx is a stone closer with little ability. Pass.
9) Metaurus draws the worst of it but hails from top barn and met some toughies at Finger Lakes. A possibility.
Contenders: 3,5,9 with the 3 the best.

Race 2- 1) Most Happy Fella is way up in class off negative barn change. Out.
2) Tap Attack does not figure.
3) Southbeachsandy raced well on two wet tracks and now rates as the inside speed with fast footing. Look out.
4) Ruffino misses Bond.
5) Lunar Victory will race on a fast real track for the first time and is a pure guess.
6) Make Note is a plodder from low profile connections. Needs a miracle.
7) Innthewest was competitive against cheaper at the Lakes. Not today.
Contenders: 3

Race 3- 1) Poppa's Pick is very ambitiously placed even with the positive barn switch.
2) Temecula Creek is as solid as they come but will likely have too much to do at crunch time.
3) Close To The Vest has his trainer to thank for turning him into the horse he was always meant to be. Right back for 3 in a row.
4) Perfect Drive is the main danger going for barn that has turned it all around.
5) Alcomatch is ridiculously spotted by trainer known for this.
6) No Detour is cheap and drawn outside superior speeds. Out.
Contenders: 3,4

Will finish up later.

Race 4- 2) Wild Target draws the rail after chasing outside in useful debut. With expected improvement, should beat these.
    3) Mr Beer Goggles couldn't handle weaker in debut with superior trainer. Needs improvement to be more than a pace factor and that is highly unlikely.
    4) Steele Road was getting to winner after chasing outside in first fast track start. Short price today and very vulnerable.
    5) Inflation Target comes from same race and has worked well since.
    1) Lucky's Dream debuts in tough field from dismal barn. Watching.
    6) Mr. Ast makes first start for Levine off a long layoff but is confidently spotted while attracting Dominguez.
1A) Redhotlion is a carbon copy of mate.
Contenders: 2,4,5,6 with the 2 the best.

Race 5- 1) Mr Rosenthal turns back as the inside speed and finds himself in a now or never spot. Keying in the pick 4.
    2) La Festa E Domani has never hit the board in 20 starts and although barn has come to life, this is just asking too much. Maybe using on one ticket.
    3) A Used Gun has never beaten a single horse in five starts. Should be someones pet, not a racehorse.
    4) Digital Joe is a contender only because of the competition and don't think he can beat the one from behind.
    5) S.Z. Madison couldn't win in the basement at Finger Lakes. Overmatched big time.
    6) All Zipped Up is just a horrible horse.
    7) Hook And Lateral is competitive off his lines but off a layoff at a short price for below average trainer, I'm tossing.
    8) Crescent Moon Drive may awaken for rejuvenated barn and will be boxcars on the board. Like mate, using on one ticket.
    9) Guyana President wasn't as bad as the line looks in debut but draws wide again. Expecting similar result.
Contenders: 1,2,4,8 with the 1 much the best.

Race 6-1) Nicole H has been impeccably handled by Hushion and draws the rail with Dominguez. Short price but probably worth it.
    2) Love That Dance is entered in very tough spot for first start off 3 plus months. Next.
    3) Cinco de Mayo Mio is overmatched also.
    4) Streaker is yet another off a layoff for trainer who is poor in these situations.
    5) Honchis and Ponchis gets tested for class today and I don't think she is anywhere near the top one.
    6) Golden Mystery goes from one juice trainer to another. Pace factor at best.
    7) Winning Image adds more speed to the mix creating a perfect setup for Nicole.
    Contenders: 1

Race 7- 1) Pearl Of Wisdom stretches off one sprint and should need this.. Tossing at a short price.
    2) Chilton is clearly overmatched.
    3) Freedom Writer steps up after hideous debut and stretching out. Should finish last.
    4) Wistful Wildcat also stretches off one sprint and adds blinkers. Expecting her to come up short.
    5) Zetterholm was tremendous in first local start and first try for Dutrow. Should be tight as a drum and is likely the best horse in the race to boot. Keying.
    6) Cat Man Fu has an idiotic owner. Willie Younghans has done a beautiful job with this pig of an animal and the owner moves her back up to MSP. Ridiculous.
    7) Parachute Coney is a $150,000 flop and is another in Maiden Specials when clearly belonging at the bottom.
    8) Fr. Peter's Missal was terrible in debut while dead on the board. Not today.
    9) Rkatsiteli is a pace factor if anything.
    10) Lucky Little Liam is another spotted atrociously.
    Contenders: 5

Race 8) 3) Dr. Disco is speed from the rail but lacks class.
    1) Flat Bold is fresh and adds blinkers. Weaker half of entry.
    4) Rule by Night adds blinkers and should ensure a fast pace.
    5) Diski Dance is yet more cheap speed. Next...
    2) Caixa Electronica exploded against weaker but gets right setup again and should come right back.
    6) J J's Lucky Train has a world of ability and may just put it all together today at a price.
1A) Candyman E is a winning machine and has a shot but so do others at better prices.
2B) Calibrachoa has everything, fast, classy, imposing. The one to beat for sure.
    Contenders: 2,6

Race 9)- 1) Hakama has won 2 in a row and now steps way up for acid test. Tossing.
    2) Speightcity has ability and should get a dream trip with the inside draw. Big price.
    3) Swag Daddy is a talented state bred but draws into tough field and needs a perfect trip to be there.
    4) King Kid makes second route attempt and needs major improvement to be a factor.
    5) How Do I Win will take these as far as he can at a fat mutuel.
    6) Tiger Walk beat nothing in Maryland and now races without adjunct lasix. Next.
    7) Alpha is probably tons the best. Keying at a short price.
    Contenders: 2,7

Race 10-3) Diamond District is cheap and off time.
    4) Scorch The Torch, OUT!!!
    5) Hopeful Boy gets positive trainer change and is the inside speed.
    6) One Starry Nite is one of the worst horses on the grounds.
    1) Loyal Leader is absolutely horrifying.
    2) The Cuff Shooter returns from long layoff but for hot barn and may just light up the board.
2B) Hurricane Heat, see The Cuff Shooter.
    7) Jitalian needs a miracle.
1A) Wadi Suki has been raced into oblivion and desperately needs a rest before she breaks down.
    8) Keechi Bullet gets class relief and may just not hang today.
    9) Leap Day is just a bad horse for bad barn.
10 ) Cantrushperfection drops to the bottom off long layoff but gets Dominguez. Mixed signals.
