My good friends had a meeting yesterday with Danny Peitz and learned that NAJJAAR is set to work this morning at Oaklawn, weather permitting, and the plan is to run him in the Rebel and see what happens. Peitz thinks he has an outside chance to get the earnings to go to Kentucky Derby, and they are not going to rush him. The big picture has him going to Belmont Stakes and let him go 1 1/2, which they think is made to order for this big time distance specialist. Other info on the following today:

All of these are turf races, so watch the weather, could come off-turf?

Gulfstream Race 8 has our old watch list Late Night Action, who was claimed out of last from TAP for $75k and now comes back for opt clm $75k without the tag. I went back and looked at the PP's and I will add #8 to the mix, 4 horse tri box 3--5--8--11.
