I'm taking a shot against the Zito favorite in the first leg.
They paid good money for this horse, he ran well in debut and is now off a layoff dropping to the bottom while adding a bar shoe. More red flags than China.
My play is 1,3,4,7/4,6/3,4,5/2,6
I really like it when I can beat a heavy favorite especially in the opening leg of the pick 4.
It knocks out a good percentage of the tickets.
Hoping for the best.

What I find amazing is that both Andy Serling and Jason Blewitt acknowledged what a vulnerable and bad favorite this was and then went ahead and picked him anyway.
Shouldn't they at least hold themselves accountable??
A public handicapper is supposed to look for situations like this.
They both picked this thing and went right on to the next race without saying a word.
And Maggie confirmed by saying how fit the horse looked in the paddock.
He only pulled up lame after 25 yards.
