After finishing second at Gulfstream One of the main rivals Musical Romance will have to overcome in the Madison is Groupie Doll, who herself is becoming a force in the female sprint division. Groupie Doll, trained by Buff Bradley, was third behind Musical Romance in the Grade II Inside Information Stakes going 7 furlongs on the Gulfstream Park main track on March 17. She was beaten just a head in the Grade II Raven Run at Keeneland last October after rallying from next to last.
"We put blinkers on her so we expect her to be a little more forwardly placed for this race," Bradley said. "She's been having too much to do in these races going seven furlongs so we're going to try and get her in the race a little earlier.
