It's about time!
Johnny has been consistently the best rider in the world for the better part of the last 10 years. His critics may say that he benefits from being TAP go to jock, but he was getting those TAP runners there long before TAP became the premiere trainer in North America. Having Angel working his book not a bad thing either. I know for a fact that Bob Baffert compares every jockey to JV when assessing talent. He has a knack for putting his mounts in a good position and being able to feel the fractions like no one else.
