Belmont Race 2 for Sunday

I liked this horse yesterday at Pimlico but Clement scratched to this spot for today. He has three runners in this stakes race. This one was previous trained by Neil Drysdale and has won back to back and that is very unsual for his runners. This one looks to be a true weeds runner and we might get 2-1 at the windows.

    In the 7th--NY Bred 3 & up going 1 1/8 on Inner Mdn $60k
    #9 is a very vulnerable fav for Seth Benzel after only one race. Contessa has #3 Back Catcha Eric, 15-1, and he expected alot more from this one last out when entered for a tag. Today, 2nd back from a layoff, he gets on weeds and stretches way out. This will be a real endurance test and Contessa thinks BC Eric can run all day. Using him w/p/s and ex bx 2--3--9.

    The tout we had on the Canterbury runner did not pan out. Glad I forgot about him!

    Achilles is a sct in race 2.

    Contessa sct #5 in the 3rd Smart Aya.---Load up on #9 Kissininthedark--4/5 likely?
