Race 1- Perfect Embrace drops below the level of the claim but purses are so inflated, it just doesn't matter.
Lack of pace adds the the appeal and expect this one to go right down the road.
Race 2- Using 3 here in no particular order.
Searchingforahero has been awaiting the chance to face New York breds. Barn more than not has them cranked up for their debuts.
Zekes Surprise and Ascended Fever come from same sloppy debut. The former took money that day, otherwise, the two are inseparable.
Race 3- Bandini's Diamond looks like a short priced standout racing for a tag for the first time. Bet against at your own risk.
Race 4- Coach Royal finally finds graduation day. All firm turf races are good and some with impossible trips. Not much speed signed on so expecting to make the front or sit cozily just off.
Race 5- Hlao Roo and Crypto Kitten dueled each other into oblivion in last. Would love one of them to scratch to send it in on the other but otherwise using both equally.
Race 6- Luigi P has to come from the clouds but is certainly placed correctly and no one will be coming faster at the wire. Great price.
Race 7- Not Today broke maiden in first turf try and a race definitely needed. Looks as the lone speed here and has definitely found an unexpected new home on the lawn.
Race 8- Shanghai Bobby did something in maiden breaker debut that no one in this field has done. Pass horses.
Best horse in the race to start and looms the only true closer in the penultimate pace meltdown.
Race 9- Adios Nardo gets timid vote in bad field. The Kid N Me and Great Karoo both make second start after ground giving good turf debuts.
Big license to wake up.
