Why I like these horses Sunday at the SPA

Race 2: 2- Belongs to Dixie- Servis/J Lezcano have teamed up on 7/22 for a $8 winner.on 7/30 for $ 6. On 8/3 for $20.on 8/6 for $ 8. So this is a play for me.


Race 3: 3-Cindy's Kitten, third race back from a layoff, dropping in class. Looks primed for a good effort.

Race 5: 6-Crafty Dreamer- first time against winners, but since his race 2 bullet workouts. Including a 6F 8/3 1:14.2.Maragh sticks with him.


I hope my explanations for why I'm playing these horses is acceptable. Yes my "stats" have been awful 3/11. But doesn't everyone have a tough streak every now and then?

    Races 1,2,3,4 OFF the turf. Only races 7,8 on.

    Race 1: 5 1/2. Race 2: 7F. Race 3: 1. 1/8. Race 4: 1 1/8

    6F in 1:14 is pretty slow, and only 3 worked... But the 5F on the 25th was nice. Only worked 2 days ago, and anything within 3 days is usually an automatic toss for me.

    Off layoff, but worked right along entire time. Decent "stretch" work a few days ago. Will be tough.

    No offense, just sharing my thoughts.

    BTW, 3/11 is NOT necessarily awful, unless you are playing all chalk...good luck today and I'll take a candle lighting any time!!

    Well today was a better day 2/2 with one scratch.

    Cindys Joy ran a not so good 3rd, Crafty Dreamer ran 2nd.

    You had some good pick however saratoga is very unpredictable, maybe next week!
