Well after today, Cuomo blows up NYRA, will we get a new racing secretary? I sure hope so P.J. Campo is a disaster. New York racing needs a jump start, let's hope the new board gets customer friendly again. The bigger purses don't mean a better product, just "the same 'ol tired horses" running. If Cuomo holds back the VLT money as he has promised then New York racing is in big trouble.
But it's get a way day and here are my 6 winners:
Race 1: 5-Draw Two- Michelle Nihei has this Macho Uno stretching out and goes with J.J.
Race 3: 2- Birchwood Road- Michelle Nihei again, Prado rides again.Was a little slow out of the gate but ready to roll today.
Race 4: 1-Photon- Dirty Dutrows last win ever at the Spa? Court will be ruling on his last appeal within 2 weeks.
Race 8: 2- Bizzy Caroline-3rd back from a layoff.Her last race was over a very yielding turf, today it's firm.
Race 9: 4-Fortify-Jersey Joe rides again, could this be Godolphins best? Hopefully will get 3/1 .
Race 10: 3- Fizzano-3 nice works since his last race. Julien rides this one wire to wire.
One 6 horse show parlay. Then a 4 horse show parlay,Race 1,3,2,9. A 3 horse place parlay,Race 1,3,9. A two horse win parlay Race 3,9. Then a " nice" win bet on Race 9.
