Godolphin & Dettori split..

◗ Godolphin announced Sunday that jockey Frankie Dettori would no longer ride on retainer for the powerful Dubai-based operation in 2013. Dettori, who turns 42 in December, has been the principal jockey for Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum al Rashid’s racing stable for 18 years. The split was said to have been mutually agreed upon.
