#5 Beautiful Miss (4/1 ml)
Tapit filly for Jonathan Sheppard brought nearly a half-million ($475k) at the April Keeneland sale after working a furlong in 10 seconds flat, and it's obviously a nice bonus that work came over the local polytrack surface. As did a nice 5-furlong bullet (much more recently) on Oct. 11, where according to the Keeneland clocker comments, she slightly outworked Remember Then, who came out of that drill to win her debut in a similar race last week. Beautiful Miss also worked heads-up with Remember Then on three other occasions back @ Delaware Park. Looks very live here.

Did it happen again? I bet $100 bucks on this mule, but didn't watch the replay.
Glad I've only bet $200 on her. $500k seems a little steep now.
