I was 23 when big red won the triple crown. I have watched the movie "secretariat" everday for two weeks. I am so addicted. I need advice on how to get started and how to follow the horses. I live north of Houston Texas and we have a racetrack here. There is Delta Downs in Louisiana close by as well. Do all racetracks run thoroughbreds? How do I follow the horses and how do I follow the ones that will race in the 2013 triple crown races? Need help from all of you experts. I can't wait to go to my first race.
