Gulfstream late pick 4 Saturday, 12/22
Race 7- 6) Kanagaro has been in this condition a long time. Makes second start off the bench and should be in the second flight behind a decent pace and the distance certainly won't pose any problems.
Positioned inside the main danger which may be enough.
Race 8- 3) Nevada is a serious animal. Unfortunately caught two of the best maiden fields of the year in his first two.
Returns fresh for Pletcher who is winning with everything.
1) Finn's Quest showed no speed at Churchill after attending a fast pace in Hoosier debut. Stretches out in a tough field but has license to improve big time. No match for Nevada but a good use underneath.
Race 9- 5) Salto is another Pletcher powerhouse who's firm turf races are explosive. Fresh as a daisy and draws well in race loaded with early pace.
14) Nikki's Sandcastle draws the worst of it and will need to work out a trip. But has all the talent in the world and always shows up.
Race 10- 4) Miss Tapit adds blinkers and gets firm footing today. Lone turf start was on a swamp and a race she clearly needed.
Long breeze after half mile blowout has this one ready to get her picture taken.
