Arkansas based zillionaire Joe Ford(Westrock Stable, Alltel/Verizon, Augusta National) fell in love with Bob Baffert a few years back when Baffert was sending Looking At Lucky and others thru Oaklawn on the way to Kentucky. Not one to be shy at the sales, Joe Ford has spent willingly in hopes of sending the very best to California and Baffert. They have two going today.
Race 2--3yo msw 5 1/2
#6 Spirited Touch, 5-1, is a first time starter with super fast works over at Hollywood Park. Should love getting on real dirt and lures Rafael Bejanaro for the debut.
Race 3--SHAM STAKES
#1 Den's Legacy, should give #2 Goldenscents all he wants. Pace duel up front could spell big baloons for our old friend--Win/Place/Cho--who sneaks in #5 Dirty Swag, 12-1. I thought Cho was in the import textile business, but the name of this one would imply that he is in business with the Golden Triangle(isn't swag a slang term for heroin?) 1/2/5 tri box
Race 7--San Pasquel Stakes
#4 Ultimate Eagle---I love to watch a horse shoot out to the front At Santa Anita and never lookback. We should see just that today!
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
