Race 7 Horse 9 (Breedy's Land)

Husbands and Casse form a lethal jockey/trainer combo.

They are quite successful at Woodbine with first time starters and I would expect them to have this one ready. Gotta watch out for John V. on the 10, but if Patrick can get this one in a good position he should be able to make his run.

    I love a good first-time starter, but i imagine it'll be difficult to win while breaking from the 9-hole over that five furlong turf course. Not much of a run into the turn, so the chance of getting caught wide (and/or getting rushed early) is increased. Good luck with her though! :clover:

    You were right. Couldn't cover the ground on the turn. I'll still be watching for her next time out.

    Race 4 Horse 2 (Hillaby)

    I have to go with the trainer/jockey combo again.
    In it's previous race this horse got swallowed up and had no chance in making a run.
    It definatly has a chance here and should have some decent odds.
